it’s all my fault
It’s not logical, I bet less than half of my thoughts and feelings are, but when I can’t swiftly fend off a cold I feel personally responsible for my resulting poor state of health.
About a month ago it happened, and man did it happen fast. I really didn’t have a chance to fight the little diabolical virus before it invited it’s equally evil bacterial friends into my lungs…”Ouch!” I had a full-blown lung infection.
In my typical contrary and stubborn disposition, I considered my options. I had to keep my eye on the ultimate goal – to achieve good health again and not just fight off the infection. Those are two different things, because the latter doesn’t necessarily bring good health and can result in poorer health; at least that is my personal experience and what I have observed in tons of other people too.
